Buddha Wood Oil is a rare, cherished oil that is steam distilled from a small tree native to Australia. Also known as Australian Desert Rosewood, Buddha Wood has a deep, woody aroma; a thick, viscous texture; and a deep amber hue.
This remarkably balancing and grounding oil enriches meditative practice and supports the mindset of those who wish to stay present. Buddha Wood Oil is sometimes used in place of the more common Sandalwood, but it contains unique components.
Additionally, its scent is distinct from Sandalwood with notes of smoke and rose. Buddha Wood Oil is often used in perfumery, especially in refined cologne for men.
DIRECTIONS
To encourage peace and relaxation or to support meditation, diffuse Buddha Wood Oil for 30 minutes.
For a DIY masculine 10 ml roller cologne, blend 10 drops Buddha Wood with 3 drops Bergamot and 3 drops Patchouli and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Buddha Wood Oil blends well with a wide range of citrus, woodsy and spicy oils and makes a great addition to soaps and lotions.
For topical application, dilute to 2-5%.
